The service

Dish-Scribe lets you save and import recipes, track your pantry, plan meals, build grocery lists, transform recipes, and cook. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no unlawful activity, no infringing or harmful content, no attempts to disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the app, and no importing at a scale intended to abuse third-party sites.

Your content

You keep ownership of the recipes and content you create. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, process, and display that content so we can provide the service to you and any household members you invite.

You are responsible for the content you import, and you must have the right to save it. Please respect the terms and copyright of the sites and creators you import from.

Imported and third-party content

Imports come from third-party sites and posts that you choose. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or legality of that source content.

Recipe, nutrition, and allergen disclaimer

Parsed recipes, transformations (such as vegan, high-protein, or allergen-free versions), scaling, and any nutrition figures are automated estimates and may be inaccurate or incomplete.

They are not medical, dietary, or allergen advice. Always verify ingredients and preparation yourself before relying on them, especially where allergies or health conditions are involved.

Plans and payment

Dish-Scribe offers a free tier and paid plans (Pro is coming soon). Plan features and pricing may change; we will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.

Intellectual property

The Dish-Scribe app, its software, design, and branding are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or code.

Termination

You may stop using Dish-Scribe and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Dish-Scribe is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
